North Brabant is fostering ecosystems in biomaterials for regenerative medicine and production technology for biomedical applications, supported by the National Growth Fund projects: the National Pilot Factory for Regenerative Medicine (specifically the Smart BioMaterials Center – SBMC) and NXTGEN HIGHTECH.

Role: Production Technology and Regenerative Medicine Facilitator

Our partner Brabant Development Agency (BOM) is looking for a facilitator that will bridge SBMC and NXTGEN HIGHTECH, generating synergy and projects at their intersection, working with the BOM and involving SBMC and High Tech NL governance. Tasks include developing four new projects utilizing both NXTGEN HIGHTECH and SBMC’s knowledge and facilities, market demand development, connecting and mentoring ecosystems, and profiling the collaboration internationally.

This role is part of the BOM’s Ecosystem Development team, focusing on sustainable food systems, a healthy future, climate-neutral energy, and key technologies.

Before You Start

You should bring

Networking skills and experience in relationship building

  • 5+ years in a commercial/industrial setting, preferably in life sciences, medtech/pharmaceuticals, or high tech
  • A degree in a relevant field, such as biomedical engineering, life sciences, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or similar
  • A proactive, organized, customer-oriented, entrepreneurial, and responsible attitude
  • Professional collaboration and communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Affinity with GxP environments, production technology, and a track record in business development
  • Enthusiasm for creating partnerships in a complex stakeholder field
