SBMC is excited to announce the inauguration of two state-of-the-art devices in our development lab, pushing the boundaries of research and development capabilities.
The first addition is the MCR 102e Rheometer from Anton Paar, equipped with various geometries, designed for comprehensive rheological investigations. This sophisticated instrument allows for the precise characterization of viscous solutions and hydrogels across a wide temperature range. Our new strategic collaboration with Anton Paar will further accelerate the development of innovative methods, ensuring that our lab remains at the cutting edge of material science.
The second arrival is the Instron Tensile Testing Machine (Model 34SC-2kN). This high-performance device, featuring submersible side-action grips, a temperature-controlled BioPuls bath, and an advanced video extensometer (AVE 2), is now fully operational. It’s ideal for a broad spectrum of biomechanical testing applications, including hydrogels, native tissues, and fibers.
These advancements significantly enhance our lab’s capabilities, and we invite researchers to explore the potential of these new tools. For further inquiries or to discuss how SBMC can support your R&D, reach out to our business developer, Danielle Trappenburg-Eelkman Rooda.
